A short prayer for anxiety and overcoming worry:
Dear heavenly Father, my heart grows anxious easily. And I make my anxiety worse by trying to control my life instead of living for You and Your kingdom. If You knew my problems and didn’t care, You would be cold and unloving. If You cared but didn’t have the power to work in me, You would be unhelpful. Thank You for being almighty God as well as my loving heavenly Father who knows me, cares for me, and works in me. Help me to trust in You more, grow in humility, and abound in thanksgiving. In Jesus’s name, amen.

Philippians 4:6-7, written by the apostle Paul:
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
