Hello, my name is Ellen Smile, and this is where I’ve chosen to share the most vulnerable chapter of my life. Life, as I’ve always believed, is about living fully, embracing each moment, and pushing forward, no matter what comes our way. But right now, I find myself in a place I never expected.

My husband Steve, my partner, my best friend, passed away. And with his loss, everything I knew and loved has shifted. Every morning, getting out of bed feels like an impossible task. The weight of grief is suffocating, and some days, it feels like I can’t breathe through the sadness. But in the midst of this heartache, there is a glimmer of hope, the one thing that keeps me going is my channel.

I’m not where I want to be. I’m still learning how to live without Steve by my side, how to navigate this life without the love and support I once had. Some days, I’m behind the scenes, struggling to pull myself together. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to make a video without the tears, but I know that in time, I will.

This is my journey of being a widow (I hate that word), of finding my strength again, one day at a time. I want to share this with you because I know that there are others out there who understand this kind of pain. Maybe you’re facing your own struggle, your own heartbreak, your own mountain to climb. I want to be here for you, just as much as I hope you’ll be here for me.

Someday, I’ll be back in front of the camera, sharing my journey with you. Right now, the grief is still so overwhelming, and I fear that I won’t be able to hold it together. I want to be strong for you, but at this moment, I need to take things one step at a time. Thank you for your understanding, and for being patient with me as I work through this painful chapter. I promise you that, one day, I’ll be back. I’ll return to inspire, to motivate, and to remind you that no matter what life throws our way, we can find light again, even in the darkest of times.
