Jordan and Shaun Conrad are the two brothers behind the Conrad Machine Press Company, North America’s oldest manufacturer of fine art printmaking presses. With over 50 years of collective, hands-on experience in press building, we grew up immersed in the world of print, learning the craftsmanship behind high-quality etching, lithography, and relief presses at a young age. Our passion for printmaking and commitment to providing studios and artists with the best possible equipment has helped shape the company’s reputation for performance and durability.

Conrad Machine Press Company is the oldest manufacturer of fine art printmaking presses in North America.Founded in 1945, Conrad Press is a proud fourth-generation family-run business that focuses on quality craftsmanship and customer service that has defined it for over 80 years. Conrad offers the widest selection of presses in all of printmaking, with machines dedicated to etching, lithography, relief, monotype, and multi-use combination presses. These presses range from small tabletop models to the largest floor model presses in the world. In addition to presses, the company serves as a full-service supplier, carrying a comprehensive range of printmaking supplies including paper, ink, plates, rollers, and more.

Adam Noah Berman is currently the Printmaking Lab Manager and adjunct professor at the University of New Mexico. Adam is a Tamarind trained printer originally from Florida, where he received his BFA from the University of North Florida and obtained his MFA in printmaking from East Carolina University. A chef by trade and an artist by passion, Adam enjoys making prints that focus on botanical beauty as well as the culinary uses of plants we might often overlook. His research is on the concepts of plant blindness, ethnobotany, and how ethnocentrism has played a role in the shaping of what modern society thinks of plants.
