DIY Laundry Soap Powder with Handmade Soap Base

Hello soap making friends! If you are like me and you make a lot of cold process soap, then you will definitely have a collection of old soap bars and offcuts that you can use to make your own laundry soap. All you need is equal amounts of grated soap (it doesn't have to be homemade) and washing soda (sodium carbonate) - blend the two together in a food processor and you have your own DIY laundry powder!

My household has been using this product for clothes washing for years now, and it works very well. We use it in our front loader but other family members use it in top-loading machines and they love it too.
