Marble Gallery - Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (solo piano arrangement)

Happy Castlevania Season 4 Release Eve!!!!!!!! Since I'm basically going to be bingeing the entire thing at midnight lmao I figured I'm just gonna drop this a bit early before I vanish from existence ahaha. I AM SO SAD THIS IS THE LAST SEASON! But so hoping this means a future Richter spinoff or a Leon spinoff, or heck just do a series on every Belmont from now until kingdom come so I can have Castlevania TV in my life forever and ever. At the very least there now finally exists in Western animation an accurate, cool, badass Trevor Belmont, so we don't have as our only lasting legacy Captain N's Simon Belmont, which we 80s kids have been trying to forget for years. LOL

So this arrangement gave me so much trouble for over a year omg. I absolutely LOVE this theme so much, it's just so groovy, I originally wrote it jumbled up with Tower of Mist, since it's the same melody, then decided both themes deserved their own separate treatment. Tower of Mist came together first, as you all know, since it's more of a classical waltz type thing. This one though omg!! It's got this really cool funky bass and a swing beat and has this sort of 4/4 and 3/4 ambiguity that's just so awesome, but so challenging to translate to just solo piano. I went through like 50 drafts before thinking if I just made a kickass bass line the rest would fall into place. I don't know if it actually DID lmao....but oh well haha. Here's the result, I hope it's okay.

Ideally I would have liked to have done this before Tower of mist because in my mind it's always the area in the game you hit before going into the tower, so I always hear a sort of natural transition in my head for Marble Gallery then Tower of Mist but better late than never I guess.

Re: FFT piano collections - bad news about Staff Credits. We might have an Antidote type situation on our hands LOL where it gets delayed for ages because I hate everything I'm doing with it. Rest assured I'm doing everything I can to get it to a decent place!! Thank you all so much for your patience and encouragement, truly, I know all I do is write all this stuff from 20+ year old games because I'm a grumpy old lady and that's where my heart is, so it's really heartwarming to find people like you all who love them as much as i do. Thank you, thank you all so much!!!!

Speaking of classic games, next cover will coincide with a remaster of a certain 90s Square Enix JRPG coming out in June. I legit SCREAMED when the news dropped. Seriously the last thing I expected and I could not be more thrilled omg!! I've been meaning to do so many covers from this game, and I'm just way overdue, I love it so much.
