Taylor Swift's publicist is slamming recent rumors about the music superstar and her ex Joe Alwyn. Tree Paine responded to a now-deleted Instagram story from celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi on Nov. 30, which claimed that the pop star and the actor were secretly married. "Enough is enough with these fabricated lies about Taylor from Deuxmoi. There was NEVER a marriage or ceremony of ANY kind. This is an insane thing to post. It’s time for you to be held accountable for the pain and trauma you cause with posts like these," Tay's longtime rep wrote. DeuxMoi did reportedly respond to Tree in another now-deleted post, writing in part: "To relate something that is in reference to something that happened years ago to 'pain & trauma' after what just happened seems like a poor choice of words. Either way, I apologize to Taylor." The singer and the British actor's breakup made headlines in April 2023 after six years together. Neither has publicly spoken about the split.
