British Rail-North Wales Coast Loco Hauled Gala Day May 1995

Back May 1995 there was a loco hauled gala day held on the North Wales Coast line. Using a couple of rakes of coaching stock (the usual Regional Railways coaches coupled together to make longer rakes) various freight locos worked along the coast from Crewe to Bangor. Classes 20, 31, 37, 56 & 60 are seen on the special trains along with some Merseyrail 508's, a Sprinter, HST and a 37 on an oil working at Chester, Rhyl and Crewe.
