How To Price Your Shopify Products For Google ADs (Dropshipping 2020)

Before even determining what to price the products, it’s important to ensure that the products match the key metrics. Some of the key metrics include:

Minimum of $15-20 profit per product (product should be able to get priced above this amount)
20k+ monthly searches

Once it’s clear that the product does match these prices, only then can you think about pricing. There are three distinct groups to products: low ticket, mid ticket, and high ticket. However, the general strategy which I use is figuring out the average price of the top 5 competitors.

However, I tend to avoid looking at the big brand’s prices because in 2020, it is extremely difficult to compete with stores like Amazon or eBay. For low ticket items, I only list items that I can make a minimum of $15 - $20 profits per sale. For mid ticket, it’s more around the $30 range and for high ticket, it’s $40+.

Having a good profit barrier is going to make the difference between having a profitable Shopify store and an unprofitable one.
