Post-Concussion Symptoms Resolved [Marissa’s Story] (2018)

She most likely had her first brain injury as an infant. She has labeled herself as a clumsy person, and fragile. She then hit her head on a car door. Things got worse after that, and new symptoms arose. Her vision was profoundly affected. She lost her job.

The TBI diagnosis was difficult for people to believe and she felt very alone. Doing simple tasks were very difficult. Her body would collapse from overstimulation.

She came into EPIC Treatment with a hat and Prism Glasses, and now she doesn't need them from the recovery that was gain by working with Cognitive FX and Dr. Duvall a neuro-ophthalmologist.

Her recovery incredibly impacted her life. She has been able to read and write, and she has not been able to do that in a long time.
