Universal Audio Apollo, Rupert Neve Designs RNDI, Radial J48 & ProDI Direct Box Shootout

Direct boxes can change your sound in terms of headroom, frequency characteristics, and transient response.This shootout compares a Universal Audio Apollo to 3 different direct boxes: a RNDI, Radial Engineering J48, and Radial ProDI.

The Apollo examples were run directly into the front Hi-Z input on the unit. The other examples were run first into the DI and then inputed into the back of the Apollo as a line input.
