This video answers the questions "should we be worried that solidworks is going away?" Us Solidworks users have had a burning question slowly consuming us.... Will 3D Experience replace Solidworks? Its seems for the time being that Solidworks is till in full support of the desktop application, and based off the lengthy response from the solidworks leadership team, investment and improvments are still being invest in, but does the investment match the growing user-base? We sort of had the questions answere and we ill never know just how much 3D Experience is siphoning off resources preventing possible improvements to Solidworks, but we do know that the direction of Dassault Systemes is birght and looking towards the future, a much bigger one then I think we can imagine. . . .Thats why they get paid the big bucks haha!
