Emer Maguire on 100 days Working from Home.

Today is the last day of June and marks the 100th day since Northern Ireland went into Lockdown. Like many local businesses, MCS Group has continued to deliver its specialist recruitment services from the homes of team members across the province. To mark this unprecedented time, MCS Group is looking back with a song from Emer Maguire on 100 days Working from Home.

Inspired by the experiences shared by the team and clients alike, with restrictions starting to ease MCS Group commissioned Presenter, Performer, and Musical Comedian Emer Maguire to write a song to tell the lockdown story.

Louise Smyth, Managing Director, said “We noticed that many of our team and connections were turning to humour to combat feelings of fear and anxiety. Well, humour and food! This has been an experience we have all shared, and certainly for MCS Group whilst we have been physically remote from each other, through sharing our experiences, and witnessing some first hand on video calls, we’ve stayed connected. Emer’s laugh out loud musical comedy seemed an apt way to mark this unprecedented time, and I imagine everyone will recognise something from their experience in the song”.
