Trail Camera Wolves and Failed Raspberry Crop
Hot and dry weather this summer has caused the local raspberry crop to fail, an unfortunate event in my fist summer of harvesting food from the land around the off grid log cabin. Moose have been visiting the cabin, but instead of capturing video footage on my trail camera, two wolves or coyotes (they look like red wolves to me, which are more common here than coyotes) walk past on July 4th during the night. Fortunately, Cali always sleeps inside at night.
