Project Code vs. Production Code 🤯 (Day 9: Berozgaar Engineer)
Day 9 of the Berozgaar Engineer Journey. 🚀 We are officially back on track!
After a few days of feeling burnt out, the energy is completely back. I spent the day reverse-engineering the real-time communication architecture of a buzzy startup, and it was an eye-opener.
Even after building scalable systems myself recently, seeing how WebSockets operate at a true production level is a completely different ballgame. The heavy reliance on Pub/Sub channels for communication and ping-pong heartbeat mechanisms to verify client connections was amazing to study. I am putting together a massive technical deep-dive on this for my LinkedIn, so give me 1-2 days and keep an eye out for that!
The Reality Check:
I also finally picked DSA back up after a month of pure development. Jumped into a medium-level problem—Odd Even Linked List. Even though I usually rely on breaking problems down into core patterns, my logic building was definitely a bit rusty today. But consistency fixes everything.
The Challenge:
I am incredibly happy with today’s progress, and I am locking in right now: 15 days of unbroken consistency. Who is taking this 15-day challenge with me? Let me know your current coding streak in the comments! 👇
