You’d be forgiven for thinking guitarist Jacob Gurevitsch and singer Alice Carreri were serenading each other on the banks of the Seine, yet it’s the Nyhavn on Copenhagen’s urban shores that Jacob’s guitar and Alice's voice were dreamt up, on his latest, joyful and jazzy single 'La Ville'.

One of three collaborations on the forthcoming album Yellow Spaceship, which includes the hypnotic laments of Spanish singer Buika on previous single Melancolía, La Ville is sung in French and borrows from an altogether different approach with Alice Carreri’s vocal delivery whimsical intermittently narrating during verses.

Based in Copenhagen Alice is also a long time member and performer in Copehagen’s Don Gnu performance collective and when singing predominantly composes and performs in French and Italian.
