Bianca Andreescu announced that she’d be skipping the 2022 Australian Open needing extra time to reset and recover from a difficult 2021 tennis season. Andreescu said there were days where she didn’t feel like herself and it’s safe to say that her relatively subpar on-court performance is a big contributor to this hiatus.
