Film The Twilight Hopes gained popularity due to its depiction of some aspects of the traditional way of life and its touching upon national issues.
This, Adigea's first feature film, was made at the Lenfilm Studios (1993) by director Rusian Khachemizov. The script was written by the famous poet Nalby Kuek. The film starred actors of Adigea's National Drama Theatre. The crew went on a promotion tour in many countries of the diaspora. The film won grand prize at an international film festival in Spain.
