Connecting a Ring Pro Video Doorbell to the electronic chime in a Nutone intercom

The description of the Ring Pro doorbell states that it is not intended to work with an electronic chime. But, this can be done by simply adding an AC relay into the mix.

It may work fine with an electronic chime if you install their included diode. If you follow my approach using a relay, then DO NOT install the diode, as that will power the relay continuously.
