Not many in the parliament 'think they can take on, tackle and beat Andrews'

Sky News host Peta Credlin says her "hands are full at the moment" amid recent calls for her to run for Liberal leadership in Victoria.

"I'm very busy on Sky," Ms Credlin told Sky News host Alan Jones.

It comes as Victorian Opposition Leader Michael O’Brien continues to face mounting pressure on his leadership after staving off a spill motion on Tuesday.

A challenge to Mr O’Brien’s leadership was headed by shadow frontbencher Brad Battin who lost the opportunity to take the leadership before resigning late Tuesday afternoon.

"The fundamental issue I think that I have, and a lot of Victorian members of the Liberal Party have, is that I don't think many in the parliament believe that they can take on, tackle and beat Daniel Andrews."
