Belgium’s BREXIT PANIC! End of fishing industry if no deal!

Belgium is facing the end of it’s fishing industry with an estimated 40,000 job losses according to a study at KU Leuven. Professor Hylke Vandenbussche claimed that as many as two-thirds of Belgian fishing jobs would be lost in the result of a no deal Brexit. According to the report this would be a major blow to the ports of Antwerp and Zeebrugge as their exports are only second to Ireland for reliance on the British markets.
However, Belgium said it would hit back to any no deal blockade of it’s fishing fleet by enacting a 17th century charter granted by King Charles II to allow 50 boats from Bruges to fish British waters for eternity.
Talks are set to continue between the UK and EU to try and break the deadlock on a trade deal.
