Canton of Fribourg
The canton of Fribourg, also canton of Freiburg is located in western Switzerland. The canton is bilingual, with French spoken by two thirds of the citizens and German by about one third. Both are official languages in the canton. The canton takes its name from its capital city of Fribourg.

Bulle
Bulle is a municipality in the district of Gruyère in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. In January 2006 Bulle incorporated the formerly independent municipality of La Tour-de-Trême.

Gruyères
Gruyères is a town in the district of Gruyère in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. The medieval town is an important tourist location in the upper valley of the Saane/Sarine river, and gives its name to Gruyère cheese. The medieval town is located at the top of 82 metre-high hill overlooking the Saane valley and the Lake of Gruyère.

La Maison du Gruyère
It is a village cheese dairy providing the opportunity of viewing the hand-made production of the cheese "Le Gruyère AOP" and much more… Do you know the history, century-old expertise and the different production stages of a Gruyère AOP? The specifications, with their quality and traceability requirements? The ageing periods and the cellar treatment during its minimum 5 months of ripening? The interactive display « Gruyère AOP, a journey to the heart of the senses » plays on the five senses to plunge visitors into the world of Gruyère AOP and reveal all its secrets. Thanks to his dexterity and experience, the cheesemaker imparts to Gruyère AOP its particular character and individuality. Between 9:00 am and 00:30 pm, the high point is of course the opportunity of observing the expertise of the cheesemakers.

Moléson-sur-Gruyères
It (also known as Moléson-Village) is a village in the Swiss Alps, located in the canton of Fribourg. The village is situated in the municipality of Gruyères, south of Bulle, at a height of 1,132 metres above sea level. The village sits at the foot of the Moléson (2,002 m) which can be easily reached by a funicular and a cable car. In winter the area functions as a ski resort.

Fromagerie d'Alpage de Moléson
The Moléson (French: Le Moléson) (2,002 metres) is a mountain of the Swiss Prealps, overlooking the region of Gruyères in the canton of Fribourg. It lies at the northern end of the chain between Lake Geneva and the valley of the Sarine. The summit of the mountain can be easily reached, a cable car station being located near the summit at 1,982 metres as well as a meteorological station. From the village of Moléson-sur-Gruyères a funicular leads to Plan Francey (1,517 m), from where the cable car starts.

Cor des Alpes / Alphorn
It is a woodwind musical instrument from the brass family. Appeared in the fourteenth century, it was initially used to communicate at a distance in the mountains. It is mainly found in Switzerland, but also in Austria, Germany, France, Poland, Ukraine and Romania. It was used to warn a village of danger, or to call villagers to church, as sound can travel long distances, and echo in valleys. It was also used by shepherds who practiced alpine transhumance. The alphorn was already known in Switzerland in the mid-sixteenth century as the lituus alpinus. The first mention of the instrument dates from 1527 and there is an illustration of it on a stained glass window in Adelboden dating from 1595. From its inception, by the length of its tube greater than that of the metal horns of the time, the alphorn was an advanced instrument, musically speaking.
