How To: Set Up An External Camera in Onform

Want to connect an external camera to Onform? In this video, we’ll show you how to set up an SLR, camcorder, or 35mm camera to record high-quality video—perfect for capturing subjects from a distance with a telephoto lens.

Here’s what you’ll need:
✅ Magwell HDMI to USB converter
✅ HDMI cable (connects camera to converter)
✅ USB to USB-C cable (connects to your iPad)
✅ External battery pack (for longer recording sessions)

Once everything is plugged in, simply switch to external input in Onform. You can still adjust the capture rate and record directly in Onform—no need to export or import videos! You’ll have full control of your camera right from your iPad for a seamless recording experience.
