How to Structure Your D&D Horror Games | DM Academy

Running horror games and actually scaring your players, is more about structuring your games than anything else. With the right planning and understanding of tension, even the simplest plots can scare players. Note, this is ONE WAY to structure horror games and it has worked for me. There's literally an infinite number of ways to set these games up. I've just found a lot of success with this one way.
