Pierce Brosnan is a worldwide known film performer, who was born in Ireland in 1953. He got passionate about the moviemaking business, having seen a film Goldfinger. That’s why he entered the Drama Centre in London, where he studied acting. In order to make the ends meet he had part-time jobs as a cleaner, delivery man and even an employee at a factory.
Soon after graduation, he began appearing in different TV projects. Yet, what really made him an international star is his role in the James Bond franchise. Throughout his career, he appeared in dozens of television series and films, including Mamma Mia!, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, The Love Punch, etc.

The father Thomas had been married to Pierce’s mother for three years. When a future star was an infant, Thomas left the family and didn’t take any part in the kid's upbringing. He died in 1988, at the age of 73.

The mother Mary worked as a nurse. After the divorce with Thomas, she moved with her son to London, where he met William Carmicheal, who she later married.

The actor doesn’t have any siblings.

Speaking of Brosnan’s personal life, he had been married to an actress Cassandra Harris since 1980 and till her death in 1991. The pair had been living happily until Cassandra got diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She passed away at the age of 43.

In 2001 the celebrity walked a journalist and a TV correspondent Keely Shaye Smith down to the altar and the pair has been together till present days. The two lovebirds met in Mexico in 1994 and after five years of dating tied the knot officially.

While in a marriage with Harris, Pierce adopted two of her kids from previous marriages. A daughter Charlotte was born in 1971 and worked as an actress. She was also fighting with ovarian cancer like her mother. Unfortunately, she lost the battle and died in 2013, at the age of 41. Two weeks before her death, she married the love of her life Alex Smith with whom she shared two children.

Chris is an adopted son, who was delivered in 1972. He worked as a film producer but was later fired because of addiction to drugs.

A son Sean is a common kid with Harris, who was welcomed in 1983. He is a well-known actor as well as a filmmaker. As for his personal life, he is married to Sanja Banic and together they raise a common baby.

With the second wife, there are two more kids. A son Dylan became a wonderful addition to the family in 1997. He is a talented person, who deals with music, modeling and acting.

The second son is named Paris and he drew his first breath in 2001. He is a model, who worked with Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, featured in Teen Vogue, CQ Korea and other magazines.
