Custom Watch Case Mod - Manual & CNC Milling Lathe Machining CAD Design Anodizing Seiko NH36 #diy
Join me as I create a completely new watch case out of stainless steel and anodized aluminum. Apart from the lugs being CNC machined, the rest of the case is manually milled and lathed.
I go through the purchase of the watch, my design, machining concepts, and anodizing aluminum. Plus chickens.
I decided to buy a Chinese tritium watch. Only thing was, I didn’t like the case much. I decided to design my own case in CAD with the goals of making it a better everyday watch (for my purposes) and making it a bit more appealing to my eyes.
Original watch was a Yelang automatic, Seiko NH36 movement.
