Oralis: Scalable Language Preservation Platform (AWS DynamoDB + S3 Demo)

Oralis is a platform designed to preserve endangered languages before they disappear.

Every year, languages vanish, not gradually, but completely — when the last speaker is gone. Oralis creates a living, accessible archive where anyone can contribute spoken language recordings and text in real time.

🔧 Built with:

* AWS DynamoDB for scalable, structured data storage
* Amazon S3 for secure audio file storage via presigned uploads
* Server-side validation, rate limiting, and structured APIs for reliability
* Deployed on Vercel for fast global access

This project was built as part of a hackathon submission to demonstrate real-world infrastructure for cultural preservation.

Because when a language disappears, we lose more than words — we lose a way of seeing the world.
