Guitar busking in Vancouver - The Good, the bad and the ugly - Incredible moments caught on gopro!

Some highlights and lowlights from my busking adventures downtown Vancouver. These were taken summer of 2016/2017. There were many more great and not so great moments I didn't get on film, but let me say it was an intoxicating blend of stress, elation, frustration, exhaustion, and amazement. Did it for a couple years, but don't think I can handle anymore. Very hard to play with one eye on your bag, the other on possible psychos, rude interruptions, noise police telling you to keep it to 60 db (level of quiet conversation).

This city is not a haven for the creative or the arts. I played the bars for years until they all shut down. Then I tried the streets and was met with mostly complete indifference by the phone zombies. Maybe one in 20 would listen. Fact learned: no one cares about live music anymore, regardless of your skill level. At least not in Vancouver. Music is now a completely disposable and over abundant commodity with zero value. Oh well, us dinosaurs die hard.
