Hangtown Motocross Recap: Jett Lawrence, Haiden Deegan Win Again! Tomac Did Not Prove Beast Mode!
The 2025 Hangtown Motocross took place on Saturday and saw the same winners from Pala -- Jett Lawrence and Haiden Deegan.
The 250 class did not leave much to the imagination, as Star Yamaha's Deegan rode to another sweep and remained perfect at 4-0 in 2025.
The 450 class saw Honda's Jett Lawrence #18 win his second straight overall, but he won with 3-1 moto scores. Star Yamaha's Eli Tomac #3 ran down race leader Aaron Plessinger #7 on the Red Bull KTM in moto 1 and passed him due to human error on Plessinger's behalf.
Moto 2 was shortened to 25 minutes + 2 laps for both classes due to the sweltering heat. Tomac banged bikes with Swede import Valentin Guillod #992 out of the gate. Tomac was outside the top 20 and made his way to just outside the top 5 when he crashed and finished 9th.
We are heading to Thunder Valley in Lakewood, CO this Saturday.
