The reason I want to tell my story is because I think it could help someone else. My life before the surgery was filled with a lot of pain. My day would start with 15 to 20 minutes of stretching. I couldn't even get out of my bed without stretching, and I found myself losing my patience with my family. I couldn't do the things that I wanted to do. I couldn't participate, so I was angry, and not much fun to be around, and I know that that was very difficult.

I went back to my neurosurgeon and he said I did a great job. "Your fusion is solid, and I don't know why you're having pain." And I came and met with Dr. Tollestrup, and he listened, he examined me. My first appointment was about an hour and a half, and I felt real hope.

It's amazing. I have resumed normal activities. I play golf three to four times a week. I walk seven days a week. I weight train twice a week. Before Dr. Tollestrup I couldn't even get on an airplane. I've been to Mexico for the first time in my life. I am so grateful that Dr. Tollestrup ... I feel like he gave me my life back.
