The TRUTH about Bison Handling... (Behind the Scenes)

Thanks for watching and supporting the herd! This was a really fun mini series / mini documentary to make. "Working Big Joe: Bison Handling Behind the Scenes" was filmed in the spring of 2021 at Cross Timbers Bison Ranch in Sulpher, Oklahoma. Today we learn about the process of working Bison and revisit some never before seen "behind the scenes" action. In this video you can see "Big Joe" tear up the new gate before we are able to get him in the corral system and squeeze chute. Luckily our Vet Doc Parsons encouraged us to keep working him because he eventually gets his weight and vaccines in the next episode. Stay tuned for part 3… “Crazy Wife vs Bison Behind the scene”
