If you’ve been binge-watching your way through the pandemic, you’re not alone: business is booming for Netflix, which added a whopping 10 million users in the second quarter of 2020. Reed Hastings, co-founder and co-CEO of Netflix, says the secret of the company’s success is a smash-the-conventions culture. He writes about it in his new book, “No Rules Rules.” He joins Walter Isaacson to explain his strategy for success, as well as why he’s not worried about young people becoming video addicts.
