As a Black Person I Experience Racism Everyday

"They treated me differently because of my skin color". After moving to Wisconsin, it didn't take long for her to realize she was the only black girl there. No one wanted to be her friend, alienating her and making her feel so lonely. Turns out, they never accepted her because of her skin tone and continued to torment her about it.

We chose this story because we want to create more empathy and awareness around this issue. We shouldn't judge each other's appearances because love has NO colors. Treat each other with kindness as you never know how much your words can hurt someone else.
