Bioswale and Bioretention Treatment Train Installation - Fall 2016
This video demonstrates the installation of green infrastructure in series. Several bioswales will filter parking lot runoff, directing flow through their vegetated channels to a bioretention cell. The bioretention cell is sloped for ponding and increased infiltration. The video showcases each step of the project, including mixing of media for vegetated areas. The project will treat stormwater runoff before discharge to a large creek, which leads to a drinking water supply reservoir in the Upstate of South Carolina. This video is a collaboration between the City of Clemson, Clemson Extension, Clemson Carolina Clear, and Clemson Media Services.
