2023 KTM 1290 Super Duke RR | Top 8 Features

KTM have announced a return for the 1290 Super Duke RR in 2023, with a strictly limited run of 500 units to be produced, featuring an impressive loadout, leaving this as the undisputed king of the Super Dukes… So lets take a look at the most impressive features of the Super Duke RR, with eight points of note, in no particular order.

Number one is undoubtedly hitting that magic number for motorcycle performance, or the 1:1 ratio of horsepower to kilograms.

Number two, can you say carbon-fibre? The Super Duke RR is dripping in most motorcycles favourite material.

Number three is a set of WP APEX Pro suspenders, inline with KTM saying this is the raciest nakedbike ever.

Number four is running seven-spoke forged wheels, with a 6.00 x 17 rear, and 3.50 x 17 inch front, developed thanks to data collected by their RC16 MotoGP racer.

Sure to bark out a mean tone, and again contributing to weight savings at number five is the Akrapovic exhaust.

Number six is some new electrickery.

Next at point seven is the racer ergos, with special tweaks seen on the new version.

Finally at number eight we get some adjustability, across the bars, levers and foot controls.

Prices I've seen quoted are $42,795 AUD Ride Away here in Australia, or €28,900 in the European market.
