In this video, David Allen Moore answers a question from the Discover Double Bass audience about moving between spiccato and legato bow strokes on the double bass. Controlling the bow whilst moving from off the string to on the string bow strokes can be a challenge. David breaks down some simple concepts to help. Whilst he is teaching using a German pattern bow, there's a couple of great tips that will also help those who use the French bow.
