Traditional Modern Umbrella Dance

The Trưngsisters, Trưng Trắc and Trưng Nhị , are the most popular female heroines in Vietnamese history. The Trưng sisters are celebrated with monuments and festivals for leading the first national uprising against the Chinese in 39 A.D. Legend has it that Viet Nam would not exist today without the courage of these two women.
