How to Troubleshoot Ductwork Leaking Water!

On this service call the customer complained that water was leaking out of the air conditioner duct in the attic on to the upstairs ceiling. Upon checking the air conditioner I found that the drain line was clogged causing water to back up into the evaporator coil, further more the secondary drain line was turned upside down so the excess water could not drain out of the coil, plus the coil was not level causing the water to drain down the supply plenum.

I cleaned the drain line, turned the secondary drain over so it could drain into the secondary pan if there was another drain problem, and leveled the evaporator coil and supply plenum.
Another happy customer relieved that their air conditioner was back up and running again!
