Purse State Park/Nanjemoy WMA, MD: Treasure Hunting Adventures near DC Area

Sharing our adventures hunting for fossils, shark teeth hunting at Purse State Park (Nanjemoy) Wildlife Management Area. I found 25 shark teeth and some fossils from the Paleocene Era, much older than the Miocene exposures at the Calvert Cliffs. They are about 60 million years old, which is
nearly dinosaur aged. Also, a nice trip going north along the Potomac River will take you to the MD side of the beautiful Great Falls National Park.
