राजस्थान का एक प्रमुख पर्यटन स्थल है, जो अपने इतिहास, संस्कृति और अपने आकर्षक स्थलों के लिये प्रसिद्ध है। इसे पूर्व के वेनिस के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। उदयपुर का प्रारंभिक इतिहास सिसोदिया राजवंश से जुड़ा है। सन् 1558 में महाराणा उदय सिंह ने उदयपुर स्थापित किया था। अपनी झीलों के कारण यह शहर झीलों की नगरी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। राजस्थान का यह खूबसूरत शहर देश विदेश से आने वाले पर्यटकों के लिए पहली पसंद है। यह शहर ऐतिहासिक और सांस्कृतिक दृष्टि से अनुपम है। किसी समय विलायती प्रशासक जेम्स टोड ने उदयपुर को पूरे भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप पर "सबसे रुमानी" शहर कहा था।
हवाई मार्ग-
सबसे नजदीकी हवाई अड्डा उदयपुर हवाई अड्डा है। यह हवाई अड्डा उदयपुर से 20 किलोमीटर दूर डबोक में है।जयपुर, जोधपुर, दिल्ली तथा मुंबई से यहाँ नियमित उड़ानें उपलब्ध हैं।
यहाँ उदयपुर सिटी रेलवे स्टेशन है। यह स्टेशन देश के अन्य शहरों से जुड़ा हुआ है।

honestly, visiting Udaipur felt a little surreal.
It's been on my vision board for almost two years, and somehow it finally happened through one completely impulsive trip in 2025, which honestly felt like the best way to end the year.
this was my first time in Udaipur, and this part of Rajasthan felt calm, slow, and really grounding. Just two days, but so many moments that stayed with me, the views, the quiet, the walking around with no rush.
