Valentin talks about the importance of acquiring diplomatic skills for gaining international partners and opening foreign markets in the 21st century, at the International Business Diplomacy Conference 2017.

In his professional experience, Valentin has advised Romanian and international companies in Business Development, Turnaround Management, and M&A, from a wide range of industries—including banking, real estate, high tech, and industrial—but his core area of expertise is international trade & business development.
He has served in a variety of leadership roles, including as General Manager of Upground Estates / RREEF – a member of Deutsche Bank Group.
During his involvement in the real estate business, he has managed the development of real estate assets worth more than 500 Million Euros, all of them being successfully sold to different institutional investors.
In the field of advisory, risk management, and turnaround management Valentin has advised many business owners and institutional investors to develop risk measurement systems and improve their company's performances and is now a member of the board in such companies.
Valentin is also the founder of The National Association of Romanian Business Brokers - ANBAR and co-founder of the Social Economy Development Foundation in Romania.

BUSINESS DIPLOMACY Conference – November 9, 2017
The panel consisted of 19 speakers from the country and abroad (diplomats, business people, and international relations experts).
The marathon conference was held for over seven hours in the presence of over 160 participants and subjected to public debates on the ways in which diplomacy can help business people anticipate risks, identify and exploit new business opportunities in an environment global, complex, and volatile business.

BUSINESS DIPLOMACY TRAINING modules
The Business Diplomacy program aims to organize, besides conferences and workshops, a series of training modules to strengthen the internal capacity of companies to cope with external challenges to the organization, and develop skills specific to problem-solving diplomacy and business performance improvement acquis.
Business Diplomacy Training Modules can be tailored to the business and needs of companies, with personalized modules being developed within them.
