The Ties That Bind: NATO at 75 and Beyond
2024 marks NATO’s 75th anniversary and the Washington summit in July will be both a celebration of sorts given the occasion but couched in the context of the ongoing war in Ukraine, and the uncertainty of future Western support for Ukraine. On the other hand, the alliance is arguably stronger than ever, with Finland and Sweden as its new members and a newfound sense of unity in the face of continued Russian aggression.
