This video provides an overview of studying Contemporary Writing and Production at Berklee College of Music. As the name implies, this major -- often referred to as “CWP” at Berklee -- has a combined focus on contemporary songwriting and music production. As a CWP major, you’ll learn how to create and produce professional music recordings, exploring your role as a writer, producer, and conductor while acquiring the aesthetic and technical skills required for a career in a studio environment. You will work with a diverse community of musicians, faculty, and industry professionals on the college’s Boston campus, with access to our state of the art technology and recording facilities, combining your bachelor’s degree studies with real world experience.
