A Visit to the Rue Montorgueil

This is the rue Montorgueil in Paris, France, a commerce street that has been popular with Parisians for five centuries. Unlike the sleepy rue Cler, so heavily recommended by a certain travel author whom I won't name, the rue Montorgueil is buzzing with activity day and night, and the people there are Parisians, not American tourists.

Some of the businesses on this street have been there for three hundred years. Today the street remains popular and exceedingly trendy. I hope this video will convey some of the charm of the rue Montorgueil.
