3 Jeff Beck Licks From 1974

Here's the next episode of Three-For-All with 3 Jeff Beck Licks From 1974.
As I stated in this video, Jeff Beck is my absolute favorite guitarist of all time and has been since I was a teenager. From his quirky note choices and innovative phrasing to the unusual and expressive ways he's approached the guitar since the beginning of his career, Jeff is one of the most original and unique guitarists to ever pick up the instrument and as soon as I discovered his music/style when I was a kid I instantly became a fan.

This lesson features a number of slick licks and cool ideas that came from a television appearance in 1974 when he was briefly working with the almost-forgotten funk-rock group Upp during the mid-1970s. The licks here range from unusual fingering movements and phrases to expressive blues-rock based licks and string-bending ideas which are full of creativity, skill, and emotion.

Whether you're already a fan or just becoming aware of who Jeff Beck is and the mountain of wicked ideas he's always had up his sleeve, this lesson will provide some insight into tackling his signature style and plethora of unusual ideas, which are sure to inspire and amaze anyone within an earshot.
