Day 47 of a daily meditation experiment.
Every day, I sit down for 15 minutes of meditation and allow whatever thoughts arise to unfold naturally.
If you sat through these 15 minutes with me, thank you.
Instead of sitting in silence and hiding the thinking process, I share exactly what I am thinking with you. Maybe you can’t walk a mile in my shoes, but you can hear a mile of my thoughts as they happen.
As thoughts appear, I explore them in real time with you and reflect on my past, how my mind works, and ways we can respond to our thoughts with more awareness, patience, forgiveness, and sometimes love, clarity, and appreciation.
This series is an Active experiment.
What happens when you sit with your mind every day, long enough, until a world-changing idea surfaces? To change everything you have wanted and more, how long will it take?
Meditation is not about having no thoughts.
It’s about learning how to observe them without letting them control us.
