Living in Germany: Things to do in Regensburg and Walhalla

Regensburg Germany is a beautiful Bavarian city between Nuremberg and Munich. I’ve been driving past this city for years so I thought it was finally time to visit Regensburg with some locals. What to do in Regensburg? Well, the first stop was Walhalla. This is a huge temple situated right outside of Regensburg. Walhalla is a hall of fame temple that honors hundreds of distinguished German figures such as artists, politicians, and scientists.

After taking in the views of Walhalla, we met up with locals in the city. Our locals showed us a bunch of Regensburg attractions including the Regensburg cathedral, the original Roman wall, the oldest fast food restaurant in the world, and stone bridge. After city adventures, our locals took us west on a bike ride along the Danube river where we stopped for beer and snacks.
