If you plan on abusing or neglecting or hurting an animal in any way in Lee County, Florida, then you need to remember that the Lee County Sheriff's Office Sheriff Carmine Marceno has a zero-tolerance policy. The latest case?

SHERIFF DON'T PLAY
CAUGHT ON CAMERA:
In Fort Myers, Florida, a disturbing incident unfolded as Beckham McLeod, 20, now faces aggravated animal cruelty charges for allegedly violently attacking his 9-month-old pitbull, named King. Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno shared a video online depicting the abuse, stating that witnesses recorded the incident and alerted deputies, leading to McLeod's arrest. Marceno emphasized that the act was not disciplinary but outright cruelty and abuse. King suffered bruising and swelling around his neck and will be put up for adoption. Marceno vowed to ensure McLeod never owns another animal and plans to place him on an animal abuse registry upon conviction. McLeod remains in custody, with a court appearance scheduled for May 13. #dog #dogs #puppie #animalcruelty #BackhamMcLeod #animalawareness #animaladvocate #therealpaulmueller #foryourpage #fyp @LeeCountySheriffsOffice
