Miss Field S1E2 - Dipika Pallikal

An Arjuna Awardee at the age of 21, a Padma Shri at 23, and the first Indian to break into the top 10 of the women’s squash rankings, our guest today is one of the most exceptional talents in the Indian sports fraternity - Dipika Pallikal.

Coming from a household of champions - growing up around her mother Susan Pallikal (a top Indian cricketer of her time) to her cricketer-husband Dinesh Karthik, she has not only made the nation proud with her plethora of marvelous achievements on the Squash court, but has also championed the cause for gender equality in Indian sport.

Today she talks to Shibani Dandekar about her training in Egypt, her struggles & triumphs and financial disparity in her sport. She also whips up a mean dosa and talks about her mother and her husband.
