We took a Sunday drive up the A1 past Morpeth for some proper family scran at the Anglers Arms – a cosy 18th Century inn right on the River Coquet.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 With an outdoor terrace, on-site play area, and even toys and colouring for the little ones, it’s ideal for the whole fam. Anna was buzzing with the crosswords while we ordered up a feast!

🥩 We had a Prawn & Crayfish Cocktail to start, then tackled the Trio of Meats – beef, pork, lamb and all the trimmings.

Dessert? A banging apple & blueberry crumble with custard from the specials board. 🍰
