Saju Roshan – farmer from Kerala
Saju started agriculture as a part time profession at the age of 25.
He’s cultivating tapioca, elephant foot yam, banana, arecanut, bush pepper, green chilli and coconut saplings in a land taken on rent.
He put aside his life as a videographer to dedicate himself as a full time farmer. Saju’s farm is in Sooppikkada in Changaroth village near Kuttiyadi in Kozhikode. This place was in limelight last year as the source of Nipah outbreak. Now, this place that has survived Nipah virus has got transformed into an agricultural space.
This farm helps Saju, his wife and two children to meet some of their needs for making a living.
